As Xiaomi Yi action camera has been released for a few months, the firmware has updated to v1.2.0. You can automatic update the Xiaomi Yi camera with the Yi camera app for android, or you can download the firmware and upgrade it yourself.

If you have a SJCAM / tronsport camera before, then you don’t need me to tell you how to do it.
1. Download the firmware, upzip it to the root directory of your micro SD card (fat32 format,Above class 10), insert the card to your Xiaomi Yi camera and turn on the camera, then it will automatic upgrade and power off when it’s finished. It will take about 2 minutes and the blue light will be flashing.
2. Please make sure your camera have more than 50% battery power before upgrading.
3. After upgrading, please delete the firmware file from the micro SD card. We now have four different versions of Xiaomi Yi camera in stock, buy from us you will get persistent technical support！
