After flash your Pipo X7 successfully, you may need to change the system langage from Chinese to Enilish, please check this blog:

here is the quick instruction for how to install it.
1 decompress the file , you just need to click decompress the part 1, and it will automatic decompress the whole 8 files. and then you will find a folder called x7.
2 now prepare a usb driver (at least 8gb) and then format it to NTFS and change the Volume Label to winpe
3 copy the whole files in the X7 folder to the root directory of 8gb usb driver
4 insert the 8gb usb driver to pipo x7, power on x7, and press F7 button, choose usb driver recovery.
and the system install will work.

Why i can not activate Windows on Pipo X7?

I had trouble to connect my Pipo X7 I received today to both my Toshiba and Sony LCD/LED TVs. After I pressed the power button on the device, the TV screens were completely blank. I had tried different HDMI inputs and 3 different HDMI cables but still no go. The only TV that worked was an old Samsung Plasma TV that I no longer used. Does Pipo X7 have known TV compatibility issue?
After Windows update I have video output issues. PIPO doesn’t output video to my Philips TV. I tried to plug it in my computer monitor and sometimes video appears, but after restart it doesn’t show anything. Are there some issues with video output from this device?
I installed windows 8.1 pro on Pipo X7, but I cant find anywhere the proper drivers, for example I dont have audio and video drivers are not working properly, is there a link where I can download the drivers?

thanks for your response, the link you just shared took me to download firmware 183508 20150313 which is the one I am running since this morning and is the one that I cant activate, I even used a tool to extract the windows serial from bios and it says that the serial has been blocked

Somebody help me please. i have a Pipo X7s. When I power on I get a message “can find root” and nothing happend, I don’t see the OS switch menu, so I can boot windows only in BIOS. What colud be the problem/solution. THX
