this firmware is not coming with rooted, but xbmc is built-in. and as far as i know, the 7.1 passthrough still have little problem, factory will fix that in next week with new update. we will update the firmware once we get.

7.1 audio is not working on this device.
Either the internal player or XBMC..
DOLBY OR DTS? via optical or hdmi?

Either i use the internal media player or XBMC,Dolby;DTS : DTS HD MA or TRUEHD doesn’t work.
Need this to fixed.
PS: XBMC only display in 1280X720

Just talk with factory, they confirm the DTS 7.1 audio passthrough is not working because of the LISENCE problem.
but DOLBY 7.1 passthrough is ok, you should choose HDMI passthrough, and change the hdmi mode to raw, please try again.

Dolby TRUEHD 7.1 passthrough is not working.
And the XBMC is useless, it can play any file.
Error (can’t play video)
Ask the factory, if they are advertising a product with support for DTS HD MA and DOLBY TRUEHD, they should make sure it works before they sell the product.
