We just get the newest stock firmware(build number is 105k4) for the tronsmart s89 series.
Here is the change log for this update:
1.Optimize temperature control;
2.Optimize HDMI/AV compatibility;
3.Optimeze Launcher/Settings,use only 1080P UI;
4.Fix video burning test fail;
5.Support secure OS function;
6.Update NAND driver;
7.Support APK installation to external SD.

Please use the burning tool to flash.
Till now, the engineer is working hard to add the 1080p 24hz resolution, and it will be added in next update 106k4.
The OTA function will be added at the end of this month.

Latest and previous firmware doesn’t support Dailymotion app. Video not showing, only audio. Even finless firmware didn’t work. Any help will be great.

can not load add on’s to xbmcs. i’ve tried with multiple video add-on’s. will just say it’s downloading but won’t install. perhaps a permission issue?

Yes, but 105k4 is better, it fixes some bugs.

The problem I have is that I can’t play most of the online video thru apps like yuku, letTV and so on.

Hello to all. I noticed that in order to do the update via a USB cable in my case I had to replace the cable to another, eg from Nokia. This is shipped from the manufacturer at my defective. Question: The new sofcie 105k4 is supposedly able to transfer applications to external SD card. Anyone know how to do? I have not found such a function …

where is it then we are now in July
after flashing this rom my apps have no audio- if playing TED video or YOUTUBE video I dont have any sound. buttons on menu do have audio and I can use XBMC with sound
any idea? before everything worked fine with audio

I’ve purchased Tronsmart Vega s89-H & Remote-Mele F-10 Pro from Mobase.
I just updated my s89-H to 105K4 as above successfully.
But still, when the Mele F-10 Pro remote is connected to the box, the sound comes only to the remote & in no way either to the tv (via HDMI) or to the amplifier (thru optical cable).
As the Mele company says, when the remote is connected, sound can go to the TV- only by un-checking/ de-selecting the ‘USB’ option in sound menu of the tv-box, which we still do not have in Vega s89-H!

Can you please help me to use this remote with Vega S89-H, but without changing the sound output to TV/Amplifier, as otherwise the remote supplied with Vega s89-H is hard, slow & just not of any use with such an advanced TV box!

did upgrade to 105k4 but received a strange error. when I see a movie, it will after while the picture becomes strange. It will be lines in the image. no problem before the update …. anyone know this might be?

Thanks Eric. I am trying to flash Keedox AMI s802 4k (http://www.amazon.com/Keedox%C2%AE-Amlogic-Android-Kitkat-Output/dp/B00KF061MQ). Use the firmware which you mentioned in one of the comments below for this 4k player. My system was able to detect the device through the usb burning tool, but the firmware flash fails after 1%. See attached image and the error log below. Thanks in advance.
