After long time communicate with factory, we finally make factory fix the 5G wifi problem in the last update. Here is the newest official stock firmware for Tronsmart Vega S89 standand and Elite version, build number is 102k4. here is the changelog:
1.Better xbmc,no async between audio and video ;
2.Fix 5G wifi compatibility;
3.Better for Antutu benchmark;
4.S802/S802B/S802H are all compatible;
5.Other little tweaking.

factory is busy at fixing the bugs and the S802-H chip firmware, so OTA is a little late, i will push them to add in next update. sorry, man

It can work, however, audio part is not working good with vega s89.

This firmware have screen resolution 1280×720 ? possible ?
i remember that the previous firmware have 1920×1080.
what happen ?
seem also that dpi are not correct. many app not works in full screen.
I like the Vega a lot but I’m abit annoyed there’s so different versions of it coming out already. I’m afraid its going to turn out to be another rk3188. Also using my ps3 through Bluetooth would nice because I can’t can’t play multiplayer at the moment. Is it working in this version because I’m bored of updating and losing my data.

ok, my fault, i have given the vega s89 to g910 factory, and they are working on improve the connection. now the connection have problems, i know that, i don’t want to write an instruction,and make people hard to understand, i hope factory can make it easy, and you guys can just plug and play.
NO,it won’t. amlogic won’t do the same shit like rockchip.
at first, we have told our customers very clearly there are three models of cpu, s802, s802b,s802h, the only difference is the dolby and dts support. not like the rk3188 and rk3188t.
You can change the resolution by yourself, it support 4k*2k.

This device is driving me crazy,every time i power on it shut down my wifi router . My internet speed connection is divide by 3 now and nothing i can do fix the problem(reboot router,reinitialize it).I can’t even watch a youtube video on any of my device at home due to my speed decrease.

I’m new in here, i buy this tronsmart elite last week (my first TV BOX).
i have strange problem.
my WIFI connection is very good (WIFI Anlyzer) but in XBMC the network connection moving to busy, not connected and connect again (every 0.5 min!).
my firmware is 100k4,
i try to upgrade it, but the USB burning tool not find and connect to the tronsmart (i follow you instructions above)
what can i do?

how to test if it support multicast iptv?
This firmware have screen resolution 1280×720 and many app not works in full screen.
After this upgrade the remote power button works only to turn the box off but doesn’t work to turn it on.
Also a major issue is with the live TV streaming apps, the video looks so bad and unwatchable for example “Colombia TV” “maroc live tv” “France android” I tried these 3 apps in a different android tv stick and they worked perfectly.
Could you guys advise if I’m missing a codec or if it’s just a bug that will be addressed in future updates?
