Well, this photo is coming from T-R42 model, but now, you can see in market a lot of other model use the same casing. you can’t tell the difference just from the casing. so people will meet this problem:

which firmware i should flash? which model i get?

If you are a new users and want to buy such a TV BOX, we recommend you choose the original T-R42, because it has the fully custom rom support, have the real 1080p kernel. and quality is good.

If you already own one of those models, i hope my post can help you to identify the model you have, and get the correct stock firmware.

    I am interested in buying Q7 box but does it have any disadvantages compare to others? I am asking because you say it is newest and cheapest. Strange combination ,isn’t it? Also ,Please could you tell me if your Q7 model has rooted ROM and if it is not rooted can I use the same method and tools like you provide and describe for your T- R42 and K-R42.Thank you in advance.

    Thanks first for your info’s. I have since last month a MK918.System seems good on the screen but following the test done till now, i have two problems. First when i want to see a divx , the images are fluid ( sacade) 24 frame (test done with some media player and same problem. The second problem is when i use Skype, video is not suported .// Android version: 4.2.2 // Version du noyau 3.0.36+ sgq_V_104j2#36 // Vendor software version 203j2 //. Perhaps answers can be found somewhere ? If you can help me?Thx

    Also i bought one called a B351 ( this turn out to be a t-r42 )

    Hi,
    I have bought the same tv box from amazon.co.uk which has usually shipped from China. And I have found a different motherboard with Rockchip RK3188-T. Pls let me know which root files should I use for this.

    I bought a Q7, model Nº rk31sdk, and i have a problem with it:the device conects by wi-fi, but after 3 or 4 days it don`t conects any more. I change the wi-fi ssid and/or wi-fi password and then it conects again, but after few days i got the same problem. If anyone can help or guide me to the solution i greatly appreciate it.

    I have this new model, and i interest in firmware for this device…because brick them rooting and now i need flash firmware…
