Here is the new stock firmware for TV01 quad core tv box, this model also called CX968 or CR11S, whatever it call, they are the same device.

We haven’t got the fully changelog, but it do really fix some known problems, please test and report back.

Hi,
Has anyone tested if device gives output to both HDMI and A/V ports at the same time? I’d like to conenct it to TV via HDMI and connect sound separately to my stereo using A/V output (as I dont have optical interface).

Can you pass us the instruction steps and tool to root this tv01? Need to install Titanium Backup which require root access to backup files from tv01. Thanks.
This Nov 22 firmware update is not stable when connected to my Philip 42 inch 100hz full hd TV. The screen periodically flashes when playing video. Reverted back to the October firmware and the problem disappeared.
Is the Nov 22 one 1080p? I heard some 1080p firmwares are not stable yet.

I can not set 1080p (1920×1080).
Screen goes black and returns in 1280×720 (720p).
The screen periodically flashes.
Original firmware for my CS968 allows 1080p.
My TV is FullHD.
Any tips?

Is it power supply related?
I don’t think it is a power supply problem, it should be a kernel problem. try to flash some custom rom to fix the problem.
Got any other rom than stock? Any other i tried wifi does not work. My board is v.4 with MTK wifi chip. Please help Eric…
I am unable to permanently set the SOUND settings to Optical/SPDIF output. Everytime I power off and on, it goes back to default.
In addtion, I notice everytime I power off and on the unit, the CloudIPTV application require me to enter the keys. I have another E-Box there is no such issue.
