I have met a lot of customers complaint, the computer can’t find their tv sticks or tv box, or they can’t install the usb drivers on their windows PC.
Now rockchip just release a new drivers auto-installation tools to solve all of the things:
It supports Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
You may install the driver without any devices attached to your computer.

Step1:
Choose “Uninstall Driver” if you have any RK driver installed before to wipe it clean,
then choose “Install Driver”; If you haven’t install any device drivers before, simply choose “Install Driver”
Step 2&3:
When the dialogue box prompts out, choose “Install” twice

Any drivers for windows 8.1 as these don’t work…
Please we need drivers for Windows 8.1!!!

Eric please understand that the drivers for windows 8 do not seem to work for windows 8.1. From what I understand Microsoft made changes to the way drivers work in 8.1 causing problems. Has anyone confirmed they have the mk808b working on 8.1? Thanks.
hmmm, so i will talk with rockchip,and ask them to release the driver for windows 8.1. till now, we just have the drivers for windows 8.

It doesn’t work on Win7. While installing it come out with the comment “Cannot find the driver inf”

Win8 drivers are OK, but under Win8.1, the USB handling is a bit different.
Guys I just test in a Win8.1 and i don´t have problem. I just put to run in compatibility with Win 8. I don´t now if I wrote well compatibility becouse my Win is in portuguese, but use google to translate from portuguese Brasil, “modo de compatibilidade”, send me e-mail and I will try to help.
It won’t work on Win7 32 bits no matter how hard I try. Please get the rockchip to fix it. Thanks.
It took me an evening to find the solution:
The windows 8 driver doesnt work for windows 8.1(!). With just a fex modifications it does (About 5 steps … taking less then 15 minutens):

Hi:
How do I flash the iMito QX1 i am using Windows 8 Pro 64 Bit. I try flash it by using a pin and OTG port and i does work and the computer says it can’t recognized the device, I also try install the drivers for it but not luck.
I also try the usbmass and debugging and when I use a pin to click the reset button i don’t hear or feel any clicking.

the drivers on win 8 64 bit is a pain, we strongly recommend you to find a windows 7 or windows xp pc to flash.
I installed the drivers on win7 x64 and it says “ok”, but when I power on the a928 and connect with the micro usb cable, nothing happens, windows doesn’t see a new device. Pushing the necessary buttons, doesn’t change a thing. Tried on both win7x64 laptop and win7x64 server…
It works great if i want to install other stock roms or custom rom. But if i want to root a not prerooted firmware, it can’t work with adb.exe. Could you please give me/us a google android usb driver for my/our device?(tronsmart cx-919)
If i try to root my device with the previously mentioned root kit after installing this driver, adb.exe (Android Debug Bridge) will say to me: error: device not detected. And of course, my device won’t be rooted.

I was having trouble of RKBatchTool and the ROMFlashTool not identifying the android device even after installing the USB driver, no matter how many times I tried.
Finally, out of curiosity I tried connecting to USB 2.0 port and the device showed up in both! I was connecting to USB 3.0 port earlier, and that does not seem to work for both those tools!
Ready to flash now 🙂
after installing drivers also my pc dose not detect device as cx-919. and while rooting it says error ..device not found.. Please post step by step ( with photo or video ) method to root my tronsmart CX-919. also I want to flash this with latest kitkat or lollipop if available.
