Pls note, before you flash the phone you need to install the drivers on your pc.
Flash method:
1:Open flash tool “SP_MDT_exe_v3.1304.00_A2013.02.26_customer”
2: Choose the right file as the below:
3: Change the USB port to “Preloader →DA”, Click “start all”
4: power off your TS7 and Connect TS7 with your pc using the cable
5:The only thing you can do is waiting now. It should take 3-5mins. It will show 100% at last.
Note: make sure you have install the driver of mtk6589 phone on your pc before you flash it.
Two questions:
1. Where do I find the drivers for my PC? I have Windows 8.
2. What is in this upgraded firmware vs. the firmware that comes on the phone out of the box? (Why bother upgrading?)
I did not test the drivers for Win8 I have one, and i will test it when I can get a win8 pc. maybe next week. if it works ok I’d like share here.
This is the stock firmware the same with that with the phone. only for some one who did something wrong making the phone not work.
I had talked with the engineers and they would reply in a few days.
Is it your phone 8G? or 4GB? this is only for 8GB version.
How to root this Tronsmart TS7 Glacier?
I can not attach a USB flash to this phone via OTG cable
Can you try another usb cable or another usb port of your pc? maybe another PC
Now I’m totally confused! AnTuTu test says my device has 6589T. I’ve just checked it with Unclemobile Tools, it reports plain 6589. Which one may be the real one?
