  1. Preordered right away, now lets hope I don’t get dissapointed.
    HDMI™ 1.4a, Optical S/PDIF AC3 multi-channel did the trick for me.
Let’s hope the date is indeed going to be the 31st of Juli.
    Fingers crossed.

  2. 140 bucks? Ouchhhhhh

  3. Yeah, the price came as quite a shock. If the price was comparable to the older X5 this would be a no-brainer. At this price a purchase will require more thought and a confirmation of the exact features and capabilities. (Full accelerated 1080p with AC3, DTS etc available at the HDMI output will be a must as a minimum.)

  4. Stock firmware download link?

  5. Avatar photo

MINIX hasn’t released that to us. once we get, we will upload.

  6. Differences in Minix and K-R42. HDMI 1.4a vs 1.3 allowing 3D, 3 USB instead of 2, Optical S/PDIF, dual band WiFi, double the nand, Bluetooth 4.0 (non mentioned on K-R42), Microphone Jack plus Minix history of excellent support for their devices which is something to not take lightly for Chinese Tech.

  7. Hi,

Will this work with a usb dvd player or bluray player?
