    Hi, this is extremely good news. Thank you also for listing the fixes included in this update, looking forward to check them out.

    I have tried to install the new firmware, but no success. This time a driver is included as part of the package and I can see the device labeled as “rockusb” However, when I ran the executable it told me that it failed loading the config.ini, even though I can see a config.ini file in the same directory!?. The .img file did not show up in the GUI, neither did the button light up in green and when I pointed to the .img file manually, it responded with `RKBatchtool has stopped working`

    Here is a suggestion. When you publish a new SW package please verify your instructions on a PC with a vanilla (i.e. freshly installed) operating system. I have a hunch that there may be additional SW installed on your PC that is not included in the instructions.

    Thank you for your hard work and keeping us up to date.

    Problem solved. Renaming the two directories to their English versions of “Driver” and “Tools” allowed the tool to initialize correctly which in turn allowed the update of the firmware.

    Antutu does report a faster benchmark figure. This was achieved by adding a lower resolution to the display settings, called “Normal”. When setting the display mode to HD in order to get the full “retina” display resolution back, the antutu benchmark is actually slightly lower than that of the 4.1 release. Good news is that the Frodo version of XBMC appears to be compatible with this release. The scrolling also does appear to be slightly improved, even in HD mode.

    The SW defaulted to Chinese and there are now some Chinese apps installed which are not really usable by people who cannot read Chinese. It is not rooted. It would be great if an English only version could be released.

    Certainly a step in the right direction!
