  1. Hello,

I was wondering if the latest version of the software Will already be installed if we buy one now plus the firmware?

If not, Will there be any uppgraded version soon.

    Thank you,

    Kind regards , Daniel

No support for full 1080p now, but people said the Android 4.1 system is more steady and more fast than the 4.2

  7. This is a great device, my only (minor) issues are the UK users are give a 2pin to 3pin adapter. I had one before with my android handheld console and when it was knocked while plugged in it shorted the power input..

Is there a 5v 2amp UK power adapter?

Also the USB cable is really short, I tried another cable but its slightly loose and slips out causing a reboot…

All in a this is a solid 9.5/10 RECOMMENDED

  8. I am getting an error that “backup file is not existed

What went wrong? How do I fix it?

I need to do that for the DroidTV X1 ( Rk3066 based) set top box.

    thank you for your advices!

  11. Here are better instructions:

    Extract files to PC

Hold down Upgrade button located on the side of the T428 while plugging it into your pc, then install drivers located in the “RockusbDriver” folder.

Launch “RKAndroidTool.exe” you will see the screen at the bottom change to “Found RKAndroid Loader Rock Usb” .

    Change the following:
-Double click on “..\rockdev\RK3188Loader(L)_V1.00.bin” and change it to “.\rockdev\RK3188Loader(L)_V1.04.bin” located in the rockdev folder.

-Double click on EACH of the other entries and delete 1 of the dots “.” at the start of each file EXAMPLE:
    ..\rockdev\parameter
    .\rockdev\parameter

Tick all the boxes except the last one (image backup)

Click on the “Run” button. A popup window will come up stating “Parameter was modified, do you want to reload?” Choose “Yes”

The firmware will begin to flash displayed on the right.

Once firmware has successfully flashed it will say “OK” in the window on the right.

You can exit the program now and reconnect to the TV, this will take a few mins to boot.

    Hope this helps
