Ugoos, the factory which produce the UG802 ,UG007 and UG008 mini pc, now they send us their new quad core mini pc, they said, they plan to release three models, they are: UG802B, UG007B,MK809 III.
They haven’t told us what is the mainly difference between those 3 models, Here is the information for one of them, UG802B:

The sample they send to us is also no case, just the PCBA board, here we go:
This board is really the same as Tronsmart T428 which we have introduced before, however,it add the antenna and we tested it, it can work great with the wifi chipset.
The sample we get is still android 4.1, however ugoos tell us they will upgrade to android 4.2 when they release the product, here are some screenshots:

Wifi speed: compare with tronsmart t428 sample, this one add the external wifi antenna, and it get good wifi siginal, however, the max wifi speed seems just can reach 65Mbps, like MK808,it should depends on the wifi chipset it use.
It also have Ethernet function, you can use this usb ethernet adapter to connect with you ethernet.

You can set up the brightness, and sleep in Display setting;
HDMI Resolution, still scale from 720p, hope the future custom rom will make the real 1080p output;

Antutu Benchermark: it’s a little lower than Tronsmart T428, Rockchip RK3188 chip said it can reach 1.8Ghz, but after i rooted this device, and try to overclock the cpu frequency to higher,i can’t, i use the antutu cpu master, i don’t know why, is rockchip locked the cpu frequency to 1.6Ghz? or my method is wrong? i hope someone can tell me.

Overall, this is another similar product like Tronsmart T428, Specification is really cool, however, still have some problems like right mouse button don’t work, you can not make the menu go back like other mini pcs, i think Ugoos will fix these bugs when they release this quad core mini pcs. Again, there is no real price range for those mini pc, but i think they will same like tronsmart t428, in about 100usd or so, and for release date, Ugoos tell us, they will be available in the middle or April.

Hi, thanks for your interested, now all of those quad core mini pc are in beta test, but factory will try their best to make it better,and then release, before release, we will also test, and make sure it can work great, i think tronsmart t428 will be the first ones. and i think all of the mini pc you can use the usb hub to connect with a usb fan. but i don’t suggest to do the overclock cpu, overclock may cause the crash system.

Did Ugoos create the MK809 or why do they use the model name MK809III? I thought MK809 was created by the same people who created MK808?
No, MK809 is not from the same factory which produce MK808. please notice. MK809 use the same board with UG007 II, so they name their new model with MK809 III.

I have good roms for t428 but the kernel have some problems in the mali drivers.
