Download the Flash tool and the firmware then uncompress them.

Upgrade instructions:
1. Open the Smart Phone Flash Tool,
Open the exe tool as pic shows:
2: Click “Scatter-loading” :
Click it.
and choose the firmware which named “MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txt”
3. Click the “Firmware-Upgrade” button.
4: Turn off your Star N9776, and connect it to your pc with data USB cable now.
All set!! Just wait the progress bar reach to the end and “OK” jump out.

Hi you need install the driver of mtk6589 phone on your pc before you flash it.

Hi, my WIN7 64bit system somehow has the driver installed.
Drive provider: HUAWEI Technologies CO., LTD
Driver Date: 9/3/2010
Driver Version: 2.6.2.1203
I tried to update the driver which is on your link, but system said my driver is up to date.
I also tried it on a XP, but the driver is not good for the XP. (a little yellow ! mark on the device manage. I have enabled the debug mode on the phone). The system sees the phone as a storage.
