Nextway F9X, the newest quad core tablet PC which come with allwinner a31 chip, and PowerVR SGX544MP GPU. It has steady stock firmware, and it also has custom rom support now.

The following custom rom is made by darkrickpr, so all credit to this guy :), Good Job!

Here is the step by step instruction for how to install this custom rom:

First:

Before you install this custom rom, the first thing you should do is install the TWRP CWM on your Nextway F9X. (what is TWRP?click here)

Here is the step to install TWRP:

1.Download the recovery zip and extract it to some folder on your computer.
2.Copy all three files , extracted from the zip, to the internal SD card !!!! not the extsd!!! like the following photos:

3.Connect your device to the computer (enable “USB debugging” option in Developer Options), open terminal or command prompt and enter below commands.
enter to adb terminal. (how to do this? click here)

adb shell

get root access

su

Install recovery

busybox sh /sdcard/install-recovery.sh

Above command installs CWM recovery.To reboot into recovery run below command
reboot to recovery:

busybox sh /sdcard/reboot-recovery.sh

After you reboot, you will see the following menu,then you have installed the TWRP successfully;

You can touch the menu to do the different operation

Now you should copy the download file, (DO NOT EXTRACT the file), just copy the whole .zip file to internal SD card !!!! not the extsd!!! like the following photos

Reboot to TWRP, and then choose Install, and then choose the Jenova_rom_Beta2_By-Darkrickpr.zip, in next page, you should swipe to confirm flash,and then system will do the flash. after a reboot, you will get a new custom rom.
