  1. Can it run a real Linux os is the the question?

  2. Do you know a remote control / gamepad which will work with it ?

    Thanks for the review…

  3. I hope a new Quad Core TV Stick/Mini PC (imito or other brand) will be released soon with Rockchip RK3188 chipset.

  4. Can you guys please test to see if this device can boot the A10/MK802 Ubuntu/Lubuntu/Linaro images from the uSD card? If so, this stick would be awesome!

Also, I’m not that looking forward to the RK3188 HDMI sticks… Picuntu is far less stable than these A10 images; and just getting the RK3066 sticks to properly switch between Android to Linux back to Android is a black art in itself.

  5. really interesting, you have an idea of the price out?
the bluetouth is the minimum today.
2GB DDR3 RAM it is very well

linux-sunxi community had received some leaked source code for AllWinner A20 and A31, and they started to clean up the code. This means we should eventually get Linux running on AllWinner A31.

  7. These factories have to understand, that Linux and XBMC are things that people want on their sticks!!! A good development would be for them, to contact developers pre-release. In order to ensure good hardware compatibility, with for instance linux and software like XBMC.

Also Ethernet compatibility should be standard, or at least an adapter should be delivered per standard with all these sticks and devices.

I am 100% certain that these small additions would boost sales exponentially!

  8. I agree with Jaycedroid… linux, XBNC and Ethernet are features people want…

  9. Yeah, I agree with Jaycedroid. Those are the requirements that I have for my next stick.

  10. I’we ordered lap dock for this purpose, so I will have one dummy laptop and update(buy new) hdmi stick when something smart comes out (first is raspberry pi, ug802 is next). This kind of updates are impossible with classic laptops.
I really hope that manufactures will find this niche interesting and support some sort of Linux for generic computer usage (web, mail, office, programming,…), xbmc for media (videos and music), alongside android.
This arm cpu’s are becoming just as powerful as conventional pc 10 years ago, and this is actually all power I need in day to day basics =) OK kernel compilation is a bit tricky on this kind of HW but who cares…
