Tronsmart give me their new update after the new year holiday, this update make the XBMC working well with 1080P hardware decoding! also this firmware come with rooted!

In the download file, it includes the XBMC prometheus version, you should flash the newest firmware first, and then install this prometheus XBMC, and then you can enjoy your TV BOX!
Here is the firmwware upgrade guide:
1. Open the download folder;
2. you will get below 5 files.
3. Put these 5 files (don’t open zip file) in root of your SD card, then follow below upgrading method,
(1) Use a paperclip inserts to press the reset key which is at back side of the Android TV Box and hold it;
(2) Power on the Android TV Box (connect the AD adapter with device), wait for blue Led flash 3 times then release reset key;
(3) System will automatically upgrade. (Make sure power is not interrupted during the upgrading process);
(4) Device will be reboot after upgrading. (Check the software version in setting-> about media player. You will see it).

More news from them, the Tronsmart Prometheus will get Android 4.2 update in next week,and that update will solve the AC3 and DTS problem, which will make this prometheus tv box perfect.

Hi, please make sure you did follow the instruction we offered, lots of customer has flashed this firmware successfully,and the wifi can work,and bluetooth dongle also work.
The prometheus XBMC would not work for me. Videos would not load. I tried using the official XBMC with external MX Player but youtube videos would not play. I read that MX Player does not support Youtube streaming. Is there a way to fix this?
I tried to update to the latest firmware and the unit died. I followed your instructions. And I got your email about flashing two times for effect, but that does not work either. I have tried to re-flash the unit so many times now. The unit is not responding. I need a replacement or a refund now.
