There is a 2.4Ghz remote control coming with the tv box. you can use the power button on remote control to put the tv box in sleep mode easily;
There is a gree led on when you connect with charger.
Weight for this F9 quad core mini pc is 103g. and for the size, we compare with the iphone 4s, see the following photos;
Antutu score is 13132, we also get 13500 in one test, it is higher a lot than the other dual core mini pc, even higer than the GK802.
From the test, we can see, the output is real 1080P, and cpu run at 1.6Ghz.
Antutu system information:
About Ethernet, we test with the following USB Ethernet adatper, working great:
Wifi signal is good, reach 150mbps, and no drops.
This is the first day we get this device, we still need more time to do deep review, please stay tuned with geekbuying, we will share as much as information we can.
Also if you are interested in this new mini pc, please leave message, we are trying to talk with the factory to get good price for you guys.
Can the F9 interwork with USB sound card or USB DAC like other Android mini PC?

It really looks promising…but…
no ethernet port and no optical output…I think those are big disadvantages…
especially when it has only wifi and no external antenna…
also could be useful to know if it has the pottential to run XBMC with hardware accelaration…
that’s from the first impression…
Would love it 🙂
Not bad, but bluetooth is a must
Ethernet port?
Rats! — I want this exact box/configuration but with Ethernet too… Anyone know of such a beast? //GH
I hope more Android quad core mini pc will be on the market soon with Rockchip 3188 or Allwinner A31 chipset inside.
I would love to check out one of these. Do you have any idea what this will cost? Thanks for the review.
I’m very interested in it 😀 put me down for one – throw me an email once its available.
Interested.
it don’t build in ethernet port, but you can use the usb ethernet adapter, we already tested, working great, here is the link

Hi, you can use the usb ethernet adapter, we already tested, and working, for optical output, we will talk with factory ,and check what we can do. XBMC, we will test today later, and report back.
thanks
Guys It will be nice if this thing would have Audio, not optical because it’s expensive, but standard audio jacks (ports) .
Also bluetooth it’s a must.
Hi,
It look very interesting. Lack of ethernet or WiFi is painfull, but it all depends on price 😉
cheers
I World like to have one of these babies, its much better than the mk8xx, plz release it fast.
wow
Super interested!!!
Wow, that looks pretty great. I am definitely interested!
Put me down for one!!!
put me down for one – throw me an email once its available
Interested! Audio (3.5mm or optical) would be nice! (ethernet also, but as long as the ethernet adapter works its fine)
how much price range are we talking about?
Does it have a heatsink inside or something?
I’m also interested. Have you tested any usb bluetooth on it? If so, which one?
Thanks!
Put an ethernet port on it and make it XBMC/linux compatible and you have a WINNER!
2G of RAM and you got me!
I hope it ships with an ethernet/2gb ram and linux compatible! preferably linux derivates like Ubuntu, Mint, Debian, etc.
I’ll buy one for sure it comes with these features 🙂
Would love info when this becomes available! Thanks!
No Heatsink on that Exynos? it really will need to be clocked ~1000mhz… but still should fly!
I would love one. When and how much?
Any updates on this device, would be highly appreciated.
HI, this device will be ready soon, in fact, we have working one week with this factory, we ask them to change the bugs that we found in this F9 mini pc,and waiting for their new firmware update, if everything goes well, we will release this model to sell. thanks for your interest.
Thank you for the update Geekbuying!!! I am looking forward to hearing more, about this promising device!!!
Bluetooth 4.0 and RCA Audio outputs are a must.
I love the fact it has 150Mbps capable wifi adapter, 2Gb ram, quad core SoC, real 720p-1080p output & linux friendly. With those features missing I just mentioned above, I wouldn’t hesitate to pay up to $150 right away, without those, it’s just another experimental device as Minix X5/G4 are. I’d rather buy an android box w/ allwinner A31 w/SGX544 MP2 GPU than rk3188 w/ Mali400MP. I’ve seen onda v812 and v972 tablets reaching 20000 in antutu benchmarks after proper optimizations.
The dealmaker for these kinds of devices for me is the ability to pass through surround sound to my receiver, preferably dolby hd, but 5.1 will do. I currently own a mk802ii and it does not support it, only downmixing over hdmi.
Wil this device give 5.1 over hdmi to my receiver?
Do you know any method to test if it support 5.1? i can test for you.
Check this link for files
Attach the device to a 5.1 capable receiver. Play a DTS or ac3 movie or music clip and make sure that the receiver is not in a virtual surround mode like dolby pro logic II. My receicer will then show what the input signal is and even show a nice cool blue light to dhow it is decoding a dolby signal, and if course you should hear sound from all surround speakers.
A messed up the link :-$ typing on my phone, but it works
Do we know when the F-9 will be ready to sell. Can’t wait to buy one.Thanks.
The F9 tv box will release within this week, we have finished the finally test, and newest system will come with pre-rooted, xbmc pre-installed, and we push the factory to add a micro usb port for you to connect with your PC easily.
Were you able to confirm 5.1 audio pass through? And what about dolby truehd?
anny updates? it should have been released? but is see no little review?
