Changelog：
Fix system freezen when you use HomeMediaCenter;
Update NAND FLASH DRIVER,update bootuploader.
The flash tool and driver is also in the download file.
If you have updated the new firmware release on 06th Nov, then you can directly use Micro SD card to update, just copy the Img file to the micro sd card,and then insert the card to MX1, and the system will inform you there is a new firmware update, and just click Yes, to finish the update.
If you upgrade the system from the original firmware: then you should try to flash the firmware with the tools, instruction is here:

You have to talk to the factory who provides the firmwares that there is an issue with the WIFI MAC-address. The MAC-address keeps changing every time you reboots or turn WIFI on/off.

I experienced the same situation as henrik. The MAC-address changes every time I reboot it.
I will talk with them right now,and push them to fix the problem as soon as possible.
Between those model, we suggest iMito MX1 now, lots of our customer has got it, and give positive feedback. and the uhost2 hasn’t really come to market, only some sample device in market.
please fix the wifi mac issue.. its stupid.
I already talked with factory, they will fixed in 2 days, and release another firmware.
I have problems with the OTG port.
When i reboot i have to go into settings, usb and then check ‘connect to pc’ and then un-check it to make the OTG port work with for example a mouse.
Can some one confirm that are on the latest FW.

I have problem with the OTG port too. I connected a Logitech Pro 9000 webcam via the OTG port to use Skype. It seems the port is not very stable. Sometimes it can find the webcam and Skype works great, but sometimes it can’t find the webcam and Skype started as usual and seemed it was dialing but without dialing tones and and my contact didn’t get the ring. I changed to the USB port. It works without any problem.

I am not sure whether the symptom is caused by the USB to micro USB adapter. I heard that the webcam won’t work via an USB hub.
My mx1 is on firmware 11/05 but the update with img on the sdcard doesnt work.
The device detect the firmware and ask me for install. The device reboot begin update but the update doesnt work. The mx1 explain me that the update failed and ask me to delete the img file.
Another negative point: I find that the wifi is not very stable. Can you ask manufacturer to improve again wifi performance and stability ?

have you tried to flash as the normal way? i don’t know the sd card flash method will be failed like this way, i will try that later, and for the wifi problem, can you explain better? is there any problem before you flash?
Hi, as far as i know, now the rockchip series only work the usb camera which have supported the UVC. is your Logitech Pro 9000 support UVC? please check the description?

Any news about a new firmware update?
Yes. My Logitech Pro 9000 Support UVC. It works great when it connects. It makes Skype behave strange when it doesn’t connect. Sometimes it dials to the contact without dialing tone and the dialing goes to nowhere. Sometimes it can’t even dial to the contact. It shows calling failed immediately after I click the video call button. When my contacts call, it rings but I can’t accept the call. It shows call failed right after I click the accept button.
Unfortunately I almost have to reboot the stick at least once every time I try to use Skype to make it connect to USB.
my MX1 arrived but the charger is not correct, in Argentina this plug is not used

I will make more wifi test to give you more detail.
One problem is, when i try to watch a video with homemediacenter or another dlna player like bubbleupnp, the wifi fall to 5mbits. And can be down. I must go into parameters , wifi , and stop/start wifi to get a god signal. I precise the mx1 is 10 feet from wifi AP. I can have 121mbits just after stop/start and can fall to 13mbits after usage.
I use firmware 11/05/2012.

I have these 3 devices and I’ve tried every application and option to see online TV programs
Using sopcast where it´s works (only picture) but NOT SONOR (sound)
What can I do or what do you recommend?
I have the last update and Android 4.1.1..
Same thing happens to my cell phone, a Samsung Galaxy S3 with Android 4.1.1.
One caveat:
When I bought the phone had Android 4.0.1 and work Sopcas sound when watching the TV program.
Don´t work sopcast with Android 4.1.
Should I install a codec or else what?
There is a downdate to 4.0.1?????

HI, we never use the sopcast app before, and our other customer use netflix and youtube stream video is working great. so is it the problem for sopcast? they won’t make a good version on android 4.1.1?
now there is no android 4.0. 1 firmware for mx1. i have asked factory to check if they can make one.
