In this Version, the CPU will be set to 1.4Ghz, it is steady and i have tested for 4 hours, still no crash till now.

I am wondering if the two minipc mk808 dual core android 4.1 that I ordered and that were shipped on Nov 16th ,were already updated to the last firmware version. How I can check it when I will receive them?

I have tried this firmware…. all good…….. very good…….
only issues is if you have 720P LCD or Plasma the clarity is not that great.
otherwise alll very very good.
No issue with wireless, getting 15 MBPS connection and does not drop.

We are working with factory now, and push them to release that 1080P version on MX1, and MX2, we are sure, it will come true, since the MK808 has got this 1080P upgrade.

Please don’t worry, you can just directly flash by yourself with this latest firmware.
this 1080p firmware is from our US friend, it is not offical release by factory, but it is steady, so we won’t flash the mk808 before we ship with this firmware, customer can flash by themselves.

Thanks to everyone working on fixing the 1080P and other problems. Some people want 5.1 or 7.1 audio etc. but the biggest problem with this device is the Wifi because without it the device is useless. I had to buy a cheap wireless router to act as a wireless bridge and a USB->RJ45 adapter to connect my MK808 to the Web because the WiFi was constantly dropping.
GeekBuying Guys: Although this worked for me it’s not an acceptable solution. The factory needs to fix the WiFi problem. You guys are doing a great job helping your customers but this needs to get fixed.
I this ROM pre rooted?
If not, will the conventional methods still works?

PCs are linux.

Is the factory going to fix the WIFI problems with the MK808 device? It’s clearly a hardware problem. The USB->RJ45 ethernet adapter option does not work for many people hooking these things up to their TVs.

No, you can’t. wifi also won’t work if you flash this.
So that means that the wifi hardware from the MK808B is different then the MK808. Which one is better?
