Burn-in Question: The most concerned issue about OLED

OLED monitors are prone to burn-in after long-term use.The cause of burn-in is that users repeatedly display the same static picture in the same position on the display for a long time. For example, if you often watch the same news program or play the same game, the fixed position and image area of these games or programs will easily leave a faint watermark on the screen. Especially when you watch it for several weeks and display the same picture.

What factors can reduce the screen burn-in?

1) Reduce the screen brightness.
2) If you notice slight pixel retention, watch something else for a while. Try not to watch the same show or play the same game for too long.

1. Pixel Refresh: After the monitor has been used for 4 hours, when the user turns off the monitor or switches it to standby mode, the monitor will first start pixel refresh and then enter standby mode.

2. Professional Compensation: Compared with pixel refresh, it is a deeper compensation for the drive current/voltage. The monitor will be compensated after 500 hours of cumulative use.

3. Pixel Displacement: It will shift several pixels in real time to prevent long-term use of the same screen (which will increase the risk of screen burn-in).

6. It is recommended that the factory default settings be used for the anti-screen burn-in mechanism during the use of OLED monitors, and pixel clearing is performed regularly to ensure that the best display effect can be provided.
