Recently, Teclast has updated its X98 Plus to X98 Plus II. According to comparison, X98 Plus II changed its design with a new unibody rear alloy housing. As for specs, they are almost the same. Teclast X98 Plus II is equipped with a 9.7 inch retina display that supports for 2048 x 1536 pixels. Besides, Teclast X98 Plus II is a dual OS supporting device that allows users to take advantage of both Windows 10 and Android 5.1 operating systems on the device. It is powered by 5th generation Intel Atom Z8300 graphics and 8th generation Intel HD graphics, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM large storage.
Design
The device is ultimate slim and elegant. It is made of aluminum, glass and polycarbonate. The front of the device has a large 9.7 inch display with a front facing camera.
The back cover is made of aluminium material and houses a camera. There are several company logos on it. At the bottom of the back cover, there are a set of stereo speakers.

Top side: micro USB port, micro HDMI port, 3.5mm headphone jack, micro SD card port and microphone.
Display
X98 Plus II features a 2048×1536 IPS display with 264 PPI and 45% saturation increased for a bright display with vivid colors and smooth image. You will enjoy a great viewing experience at all angles through a combination of IPS technology.

Teclast X98 Plus II is powered by Intel Cherry Trail Z8300 64bit Quad Core 1.44GHz, up to 1.84GHz. Due to ultra-low-voltage platform, it can offer the largest high-efficiency power to run the programs. Meanwhile, the Intel Turbo boost technology has also delivered dynamic extra power when you need it. Teclast X98 Plus II has improved its internal storage to 4GB LPDDR3 RAM that allows users to do multitasking freely, and run the games, videos, music and other apps more smoothly. In addition, it uses Intel HD Graphic Gen8 GPU which can let us enjoy high quality of images, videos, games and internet searching, etc.
Storage Capacity
Teclast X98 Plus II is equipped with 64GB storage that is enough to install many apps and games. In case you need additional storage space, you can use a micro SD card to expand your tablet’s storage up to 128GB.
Camera
Teclast X98 Plus II is equipped with 2.0MP front and rear cameras. The front-facing camera is perfect for Skype calls with friends and family and rear camera for taking photos. But the resolution is very limited by today’s standards.
Operating System
Teclast X98 Plus II comes with pre-loaded windows 10 and Android 5.1. Windows 10 brings back the popular Start Menu from Windows 7 and introduces new features, like the Edge Web browser that lets you mark up Web pages on your screen. While Android OS brings you outstanding entertainment experience. You can choose whatever operating systems you want and dual boot switching takes about 1 minute.
Battery
The device has 8000mAh non-removable lithium-ion battery, which can support as least 5 hours playing. If you set up the brightness at 50%, the battery will last much longer. It only takes 3 hours to fully charge the battery.
Other features
The biggest different between X98 Plus and X98 Plus II is that X98 Plus supports SIM card, while X98 Plus II doesn’t support it. That’s a pity. Like X98 Plus, X98 Plus II hasgreat Wi-Fi modem built in, with 802.11 b/g/n standards. It has no problem keeping the connection even with the low signal strength. Bluetooth 4.0 is also onboard, and it supports faster data transmission and lower battery drain. In addition, The Gravity Sensing System can significantly enhances your gaming experience.
