Solution : Indentify the version of YI home camera (CN version ), because the APP is separated into Chinese APP and English APP. If you buy Chinese version, it can only be used in China mainland because of Chinese APP. Only international version can be used to US and EU countries. Chinese version need to download APP from Chinese APP store and install.
Issue 2 : Firmware upgrade

The package of International version YI home camera is much better and more environmental than the Chinese version.
