Meizu MX5 released days ago, featured by metal material in Meizu stuff. It faded the Meizu MX4 by appearance, hardware configuration and function.
It carried a 2.2 GHz helio X10 processor with 3 GB memory, 1080p resolution, and 5.5 inch display screen, supporting 4G networks. MX5 is available to fast charger, boasted to recharge MX5 from 0% to 50% in 30 minutes, up to 90% in an hour. Thanks to the progress of laser technology, the focus will be more accurate for MX5.
MX5 is proud of its HOME button support MBack Touch to return function, upgraded to the 2.0 version of “MTouch fingerprinting. Only 0.48 seconds to unlock the phone by Fingerprint recognition.
The phone backed by Sandblasting of the metal surface texture. Thanks to the whole aluminum material, it looks like naturally. It is a pity that two silver lines on the back, which leads to the phone wouldn’t be smooth as we expected.
Comparing with the MX4, the MX5 losed her weight from 8.9mm to 7.6mm. It is the first time to get SuperAMOLED for Meizu’s screen, taking the same pixel arrangement with Galaxy S6 and previous generations of models for the diamond shape. So it will have all the advantages of SA screens, such as NTSC color gamut of 100%, photos will be more vivid by a contrast ratio of 10,000: 1, the highest brightness 500nit, and of course self-luminous SA screen is good for power-saving. MX5 comes with stable and smooth power of Flyme 4.5, and it back camera soared to 20.7 MP.
As expected is MTK’s Helio X10 series Processor, the specific models is the MT6795, and Meizu chose a Turbo version, which means the CPU clock speed up to 2.2GHz (actually about 2.16GHz), octa cores 64 Cortex-A53 architecture, clocked at up to 2.2GHz, still using the 28-nanometer manufacturing process; in addition, the processor supports a frequency of 933MHz of LPDDR3 memory, supporting 2K screen. The machine’s processor got PowerVR G6200 series GPU.
