Well, Before i write this instruction, i want you guys to know first, this function is just the bonus of MINIX NEO X8-H supply, the real performance is NOT that so good, because NEO X8-H is not mainly for the screen mirror. MINIX add this bonus, it’s good, but don’t blame them if the function is not as your wanted 😀

So here we go:

For Android Device:

First you should make sure your device support miracast function, usually this function only in the android 4.2 or above OS.

Second this miracast don’t work with Samsung, HTC, SONY device because of HDCP problem.  We have tested with Nexus device, and MTK base smartphone, working ok.

Third  make sure you open the wireless connection in both your neo x8-h and android device;

Instruction is here:

Step 1: Open the Miracast app in NEO X8-H,you will see the following:

Step 2: go to your android device, and enable the wireless display setting, and you will find neo x8-h,click to connect.

Step 3: Go to your NEO X8-H, on your TV screen, you will find this, click Accept button, then the neo x8-h with connecting with your android device, and miracast working!

For Apple iPhone series:

Minix NEO X8-H also can help to mirror the iphone screen to TV.

The NEO X8-H built in the AirPin(PRO) app in firmware, and in the help of this app, the ios mirror is working. here is the instruction:

Step 1: Run Airpin(PRO) app in your NEO X8-H, you will see this:

You can rename the device nickname to NEO X8-H if you like;

Step 2: The above app will inform you when it is ready for working, and then now just get your iPhone (tested with my iPhone 5 IOS 7.1.1), and do the following:

Choose the AirPlay, and then you will see this:

ok, now the mirror should work:

This Airpin(PRO) app cost about 5usd in the google play store, but if you get NEO X8-H, MINIX pay for it for you, it’s another bonus from MINIX. 😀
