Rikomagic just release theire new stock firmware for MK802 III, here is the changelog:

1. Added rooted function;

2. Added mobile phone remote function,even can play somatic games.(manual detail pls refer to manual)

3. Added wifi hotspot.(manual detail pls refer to manual)

Update Method:
Upgrade by TF card(or USB flash),step as below:

1.Decompress the folder, copy the update file(update.zip) into TF card(or usb flash);
2.Insert TF card into the unit, at same time,  unit connect with TV set and power on. there will appear a window to ask you, do u need upgrade or not, select “yes”;
3. After 10 seconeds, the unit will access upgrade process, don’t pull out TF card or turn off,pls note.
4. Upgrade will cost several minutes untill reboot to main menu; if upgrade sucess then system will appear confirm window;otherwise pls pull TF card and plug the TF card, repeat the process again.(2#-4#)

Notice:After upgrade,it’s better access to set up menu to reset for update totally.

How to use smart phone to control your MK802 III without WIFI

1. Access setting–>more–>portable hotspot, select “portable wifi hotspot”
2. Set up wifi hotspot–>system will create a password automatically, select “show password” to find the password and write down;
3. Back to your smart phone, find setting–>wifi–>find “android AP” ,input password and connected.
4. Install the APK(APK name is “MK802 III remote”) into your smart phone first, then access this apk to find “rikomagic”(the MK802 III), then you can control the unit by smart phone and play those somatic games(games should be installed on the MK802 III first).
