Hello Tronsmart fans! We have some exciting news to share with you once again. HTC, as of April, has just announced their new 2016 flagship smartphone HTC 10. Up to this point we have seen major releases such as the Samsung S7/ S7 Edge, LG G5, and HTC 10. These three high-end Android brands all currently include Qualcomm Quick Charge technology in their premium models. With smartphones needing to offer communication, audio / video playback, games, and many more functions, more and more is being required of the battery inside these mini-computers. This has created a demand for larger and larger battery capacity and continues to rise consistently. This is most obvious in the new S7/S7 Edge and HTC 10, both making noticeable improvements in their battery capacity compared to their previous flagship releases. As battery technology has limitations, a large battery capacity is not the only solution for power-thirsty users and their power-hungry devices. An alternative option is to accelerate the battery charging speed and to also reduce charging time. Previously charging a big screen smartphone would require about 2.5-3 hours to be completed. Now, with Quick Charge 2.0 technology, phones like the S7 Edge and its huge 3600mah battery can be fully charged in an hour and a half or less. If you are looking for Qualcomm-approved quick chargers, the following are Tronsmart’s recommendations based on our own internal testing. In addition to our phones, many of us have other smart devices such as an iPad, Android tablet, or Amazon Kindle. For these various charging requirements we offer a range of multi-port chargers to choose from. We will recommend alternatives to charge several smart devices conveniently for you to review below. Samsung S7 / S7 Edge Alternative Wall Charger and Car Charger Although we expected a potential Quick Charge 3.0 capability on the S7 and S7 Edge, Samsung has chosen to only support Quick Charge 2.0 on them. For now they still use standard micro-USB port instead of the latest type-C spec. Even with this limitation, we do feel this will not affect the S7/S7 Edge’s ability to be great phones. Samsung has said they have already sold over 700 million units to date. So, if you have already gotten either of these great phones and you are looking for some alternative chargers, here are our recommended models: The stock charger inside the S7/S7 Edge package is compatible with Quick Charge 2.0 and features an output of either 9V/1.67A or 5V/2A depending on model. Here at Tronsmart we have a full line-up of Quick Charge 2.0 chargers to compliment your needs, as listed below: 1.If you are in the market for a simple back-up wall charger, you may want to pick up one of our WC1Q chargers. It has one USB port and that port is equipped with Quick Charge 2.0 for faster charging. Like the stock charger, it is a relatively small size and comes with an affordable price. This model has two color options, black and white. It can also be conveniently ordered with the US, UK, or EU version of the three standard plugs / prongs. 2.Maybe you want to charge your S7/S7 Edge fast and at the same time recharge your iPad, tablet or Kindle. In this case, you can grab one of our multi-port chargers. Here we offer a three-port wall charger WC3PC and a five-port desktop charger UC5PC to choose from. Each model has one port supporting Quick Charge 2.0 and the remaining ports using VoltIQ charging. VoltIQ can automatically detect your devices and deliver optimum current, and is able to charge your iPad, tablet and Kindle in the least amount of time possible. These two great multi-port chargers are some of the best choices for your house and/or office charging needs. 3.If you require just one fast car charger when you drive, our CC1Q single port Quick Charge 2.0 car charger is a good choice for your charging needs, whether it be a Samsung S7, HTC 10, or other top Android phone. Maybe you will say how can I do if I have two devices supporting Quick Charge 2.0. No worry, here we have two ports all Quick Charge 2.0 chargers. For a two port model with both featuring Quick Charge 2.0, we have the WC2F, which is designed to simultaneously charge two devices with Quick Charge 2.0 speeds. For a two port car charger version, we offer our customers the model CC2F, designed for autos. Get two Quick Charge 2.0 compatible phones and a third device? We have you covered with yet another great device, our C3P2F model. This includes two Quick Charge 2.0 ports and one VoltIQ port. 5.Finally, we have a beast of a charger for those geeks among us who have several Quick Charge 2.0 capable devices. This model is our UC5F Titan desktop charger and each port is equipped with both Quick Charge 2.0 and VoltIQ technology together. That means you can charge almost any device, all at the same time, while all getting the fastest possible charging. 6.You may wonder how you can get so many charging cables for each device that needs charging. Normally, one charger comes with one cable. Here we offer our Tronsmart micro-USB cable packs that each meet the Mfg. qualifications for charging your devices. There are numerous options for cable length (1ft, 3ft, 6ft) and package sizes (1 pack, 3 pack, 5 pack, 6 pack), as well as offering black and white color options to match your preference. They are gold-plated connector cables, which have exceptionally high melting points, making them significantly more capable and reliable than the standard cheap cables offered on the market today. You can see the fast charging state by Tronsmart UC5PC desktop charger and CC3PC car charger from the following photos.
OK, so now that you are aware of the many options, you can choose the best charger and cables according to your needs. All of the above recommendations are made for S7/S7 Edge users, specifically.
